I am Rosh
Data & Business Analyst | Technical Product Owner & QA Automation Expert
My Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. Here is a bit of my story.
I am originally from Kathmandu, Nepal. Growing up there taught me something valuable: when you are surrounded by mountains and navigating a city that's equal parts chaos and charm, you learn to see patterns in complexity. You learn that systems, whether they are traffic flows or software pipelines, need someone who can step back and ask the right questions.
That mindset followed me into tech. At Verisk, I worked as a QA Automation Engineer across the full testing spectrum: UI testing, API validation, and performance testing for data-intensive platforms. But what really shaped me was being embedded in a product team. I wasn't just testing in isolation. I was in the room with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders from requirement refinement all the way through deployment. I saw how features were born from business needs, how trade-offs were made, and how technical decisions impacted what users actually experienced.
That experience changed everything. I realized I wasn't just interested in whether the UI rendered correctly or the API performed under load. I wanted to understand why we were building it, who it served, and what business problem we were actually solving. That's when quality assurance became a lens for product thinking.
So I pursued my MS in Management Information Systems at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville to formalize what I had been learning in practice: how to bridge technology and business strategy. Stepping out of my comfort zone and into the American Midwest has been its own education. The cultural differences, the new ways of thinking, the different perspectives on work and life, all of it has sharpened my adaptability and deepened how I approach problems. When you learn to navigate unfamiliar territory, you get better at seeing solutions others might miss.
My capstone project right now applies exactly that, using data analytics and systems thinking to solve a real business challenge.
Here's what I bring: deep technical experience across UI testing, API validation, performance optimization, and test automation, combined with real product team exposure. I know how to work cross-functionally, translate technical constraints into business language, and think from the user backward. I've sat in refinement sessions, negotiated acceptance criteria, and shipped features that mattered.
I'm actively seeking opportunities where this combination creates real value. Currently based in Southern Illinois and open to relocation, I'm excited about roles in Product Management, Quality Assurance Engineering, Business Analysis, Technical Business Analysis, Data Analytics, or any techno-functional position where strategic thinking meets hands-on execution. I'm open to exploring diverse paths where I can leverage my unique blend of technical depth and business acumen to drive meaningful impact.
If you are building something worth building, let's talk.
